A Sandwich police officer who was the subject of an investigation is back on the job. Officer Michael Hoadley has been back at work since late December.
The 25-year veteran was on administrative leave for allegedly sending harassing text messages to a fellow cop.
The Cape Cod Times reported that in mid December, he crashed his car into a light pole while off duty and just took off. He later confessed.
An internal investigation determined he had been drinking, which Hoadley denies. He was suspended for three months in that crash.
