Another man on the Massachusetts Probation Most Wanted list has been discovered to be long dead.
Robert Sieracki of Osterville served time for indecent assault and battery on a child, and then disappeared. When Sieracki failed to report to probation, a warrant for his arrest was issued, and recently he was placed on Probation's newest list of Most Wanted Fugitives.
Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section has discovered that Sieracki has been dead since 2002. It turns out that after Sieracki's release, he travelled to Mexico where he was convicted on similar child abuse charges and sent to prison. Shortly after his release from a Mexican prison, Sieracki was found dead in Mexico . Siacki died of natural causes.
A Sieracki relative told MA State Police investigators Sieracki's body was first moved to San Diego, California before final burial in Cleveland, OH.
It is believed Sieracki's Mexican death certificate, written in Spanish, was never reported to US Social Security, explaining why MA Probation was unaware Sieracki was dead when the Department was compiling its list of Most Wanted Probation Fugitives.
Last week it was revealed Scott Kitteredge, one of the men featured on the latest MA Probation Most Wanted list, died of a drug overdose in Maine in 2001.
