The Plymouth County District Attorney has issued a summons to FOX25 after an interview with a man about to go on trial for manslaughter.
Michael McGunigle is charged with killing a stranger in a fight outside an Abington coffee shop. He spoke out to FOX Undercover less than a week before his trial, saying the public hasn’t heard the whole story about what happened.
The court is requesting an unedited copy of the interview that aired Wednesday night.

Legal analyst Bob George told us this may be to show in court, especially if McGunigle doesn't tesitfy at his trial. It may also be to see if George's statement to police are consistent with his comments Wednesday night.
McGunigle threw the one and only punch in the July 2009 altercation. But that punch caused Brian Cherry, a former Marine, husband and father, to fall, seriously injure his head, and die soon after.
In an exclusive interview with FOX Undercover, McGunigle insisted he's not a violent person and that he only acted in self-defense when he hit the 48-year-old Cherry.
George added that McGunigle's appearance on FOX25 is going to make an impartial jury slection more difficult.
