Whitey Bulger has abandoned property with the state of Massachusetts.
Fox Undercover broke this story back in 2008, after finding Bulger's name on the state's abandoned property list.
The state treasurer's website still lists Whitey's name, James Bulger, as someone with abandoned property.
The property includes a bank account at Barnett Bank in Clearwater, Florida containing more than $3,700 and a $386 check from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.
Back in 2008, Bulger also had shares of stock worth about $700, but the state has since sold the stocks off which is something it's allowed to do.
The treasurer's office says Bulger would have to resolve all his legal issues before being allowed to claim the money totaling about $4,000.
