Police have filed criminal complaints against everyone involved in the incident involving a stripper's chaperone - including four members of their own department.
Robert Sonia says he was severely beaten by the officers when he and a stripper left a bachelor party attended by the cops earlier this month.
The four off duty officers are facing misdemeanor assault and battery charges.Sonia is facing an assault and battery charge and a more serious felony charge of unarmed assault with intent to rob or steal.
The stripper is also facing a felony charge assault by means of a dangerous weapon.
The officers remain on paid leave.
Sonia’s attorney says he believes police are retaliating against his client and the stripper by filing felony complaints against them.
Last week Sonia filed criminal complaints against the four officers.
A lawyer representing the officers says he's glad complaints were filed against Sonia and the stripper and believes the officers will not be charged after a full hearing.
