A look inside drug smuggling cars

Drug cartels are using more advanced methods to smuggle drugs every day and police are trying to keep up.

What looks like a standard car is anything but. 

Cartels use these trap cars to smuggle drugs, guns and other contraband across state lines.

Steven Derr is the Special Agent in charge for the New England Division of the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency.  He told us that there's more than meets the eye in terms of these cars.

What looks like a car battery is actually a trap, containing a handgun and kilos of drugs.  That iPod?  It's actually a drug scale.

Smugglers have been hitting the road instead of the skies after 9-11. Now law enforcement is trying to learn all of their tricks in an effort to stop the smuggling.
