James "Whitey" Bulger's longtime girlfriend is facing more legal woes as prosecutors are preparing to level extra charges against her.
According to the Boston Globe, federal authorities are seeking additional charges against Catherine Greig within the next few weeks.
No specific charges were mentioned, but earlier this month, prosecutors argued against bail for Greig, claiming she had hidden bank accounts and other assets she failed to mention.
A status conference in Greig's case is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, but she is not required to be there.
Greig is currently charged with Conspiracy to Harbor a Fugitive for allegedly helping the reputed South Boston mobster evade capture for more than a decade before they were caught together in California last summer.
