If you are looking to grab a pint while saying a final goodbye, then you're going to like this Rhode Island funeral home.

City officials in Providence have granted a liquor license to the owners of Monahan Funeral Home. They plan on turning the attached garage into an Irish bar and grille named "McBride's."

Some area businesses are not thrilled with the idea but the owners have agreed to close earlier than most area bars.

Mark Russell, the operator of Monahan Funeral Home, hopes to be open by St. Patrick's Day.
