It's not even Halloween yet, but retailers are already ramping up for Christmas. Despite continued bad news about the economy, Macy's is actually hiring more holiday workers than last year.
Macy's stores nationwide plan to hire 78,000 temporary workers over the holidays, 4 percent more workers than last year. The jobs range from warehouse duty to the sales floor.
Andrea Schwartz from Macy's joined us to talk about the openings. She said candidates don’t necessarily need retail experience and some of the jobs could become permanent.
