Chicago's Most Wanted Samuel Nunez

Twenty-three year old Samuel Nunez is just one of 25 Chicago area men federal and county prosecutors charged last month with buying and selling guns and drugs in Chicago, following an eighteen month undercover investigation.

He's also one of three men who were no where to be found when police set out to arrest them.

Federal prosecutors have charged Nunez with buying and/or selling at least eight guns in the last fourteen months, including a Colt .357 revolver, a Smith and Wesson .357 revolver, two 12 gauge shot guns, a .45 pistol, an A-K 47 assault rifle and a .22 pistol. He also has previous felony drug conviction which bars him from possessing a gun again.

Investigators say Nunez and his co-defendants purchased some of these guns from neighboring states while others were bought overseas in Europe or Asia. Investigators add the guns were to be sold to gang members but instead were bought by undercover FBI agents for up to a thousand dollars each.

With little information to go on, agents are now conducting a nationwide search for Nunez. They believe he may still be hiding here in the Chicago area. Nunez's last known address is in the 2700 block of West 39th Place. There's also a chance he may be in Texas. While investigators say Nunez has family members in the "Lone Star" state, they are also checking with police in Mexico to see if he may be hiding out there.

Here is a brief description of what agents say Nunez looks like. He is described as a Hispanic male, about five feet eight inches tall, weighing around 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He also as the word "Sabina" tattooed on his chest.

He is considered armed and dangerous.

If you see him, call police.
