SPRINGFIELD (AP) - Authorities in western Massachusetts have arrested
a man wanted in New Hampshire in the nonfatal stabbings of two people during a
fight.
The U.S. Marshals Service said Tuesday that 28-year-old Jeffrey Trainor is
named in warrants from Newport, N.H., charging him with aggravated assault. He
is accused of stabbing two people several times during a large fight on April
20.
The marshal's service said Trainor surrendered Monday when he was confronted
in a Springfield parking lot by members of a regional fugitive task force and
marshals.
Trainor is expected to be returned to New Hampshire.
