Boston Police seek four men for possible connection to shooting of a Revere man

BOSTON -

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying four men seen running out of a parking garage in Boston's Theater District last Saturday morning.

Investigators want to know if they have anything to do with the shooting death of Revere soldier Stephen Perez. The men are believed to have ties to the Lynn area.

Perez was fatally shot just before 2 a.m. on April 28 on Tremont Street. The slaying has prompted Mayor Menino to request earlier closing hours for six clubs in the Theater District, reports the Boston Herald.

Nightlife in the Theater District came under fire in Nov. 2011, when four people were shot in a drive-by outside Venu on Warrenton Street. A 23-year-old man was arrested weeks after the shooting.

No arrests have been made in the shooting of Stephen Perez. Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area of Tremont and Stuart Streets between 10 p.m. on April 27 and 2 a.m. on April 28 to contact them.
