
MANCHESTER, N.H. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A 29-year-old New Hampshire man was arrested on Monday after he allegedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend and engaged police in a standoff.
Police in Manchester, N.H. responded to the Elliot Hospital in Manchester around 2 p.m. for a reported kidnapping of an 18-year-old woman.
The woman told police that her ex-boyfriend, Christopher Long, kidnapped her from her New Boston home, forced her into his vehicle, drove her to Manchester, and then held her captive for several hours.
Long allegedly released her, and she escaped to the hospital, where she contacted authorities.
Police issued an alert for Long and found him in a home on High Street around 4 p.m. He held police at bay for several hours before surrendering.
Long is expected to appear in court on Tuesday to face several charges, including kidnapping.
