MIAMI (AP) - The Boston Celtics started their video session Tuesday by
watching all 19 layups and dunks the Miami Heat made in Game 1 of the Eastern
Conference finals.
It was not a feel-good moment for the Celtics. These days, those are few and
far between.
Ray Allen is hurting, the Celtics sputtered in the opener against Miami and
if that wasn't enough, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are rolling along for the
Heat, who will try to take a 2-0 series lead on their home floor Wednesday
night.
James and Wade combined for 54 points in Miami's 93-79 win in Game 1. Outside
of Kevin Garnett, Boston's top players all struggled offensively, but it was the
defense that really raised the Celtics' ire.
