Methuen school employee placed on leave

Posted: Updated:

METHUEN (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – There are questions about what's going on with a local grammar school employee.

A worker at the Timony Grammar School in Methuen has been placed on leave after some kind of incident.

A letter went home to parents, saying the matter is under investigation and the employee is not allowed on school grounds or near students.

The Eagle Tribune reports the school received an allegation of a violation of school policy and procedure and that the individual was escorted from the school.

Methuen police told FOX 25 no criminal charges have been filed at this time.

School officials are not releasing a name of the employee or saying exactly what happened.
