(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A 13-year-old female from Belmont who was last seen on May 25 has been found.
Erika Rivera left her home on May 25 bound for school, and although she showed up for homeroom, she never made it to any of her classes. She had also left behind her back pack and cell phone.
Zenaida Roman, the teen's mother, suspected her daughter left with a 16-year-old Boston boy that she met on Facebook. The boy allegedly bragged about being in a gang and owning a gun.
On Sunday night, Roman said Erika phoned their Belmont home and whispered that she wanted to come home; however, the call was cut short.
The Belmont Police Department worked in conjunction with the Boston Police Department to locate Erika.
