BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Boston Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 23-year-old Salem man wanted for his alleged connection to the murder of a 22-year-old Army veteran from Revere.
A warrant for the arrest of Peter Castillo charges the 23-year-old with the murder of Stephen Perez.
Perez was shot on Tremont Street in Boston on the morning of April 28. He was transported to Tufts Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.
During their investigation, Boston Police released surveillance video of persons of interest who were seen running from the area around the same time of the shooting.
An active search for Castillo by several law enforcement agencies is ongoing. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
