BOSTON -
BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Boston Police have made an arrest in connection with Friday night's fatal stabbing on E 9th Street in South Boston.
Police tell FOX 25 that they have arrested Sara Kelly, 20, of Boston and will charge her with murder. They say the victim of the stabbing is a 38-year-old female and preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect and victim knew each other.
Police responded to 242 E 9th Street around 8:30pm on Friday night and found the female victim suffering from an apparent stab wound. Police say she was transported to Boston Medical Center, where she was later pronounced deceased.
The homicide is under investigation. Anyone with information should call the Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
