Free parking in Boston for Bunker Hill Day

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Drivers in Boston can enjoy free parking around the city Monday in observance of Bunker Hill Day.

Parking will be free all day around the Hub, however time limits at meters will still be monitored and enforced.

Regularly scheduled street sweeping will also still be in effect.

Monday commemorates the battle of Bunker Hill, which took place June 17, 1775, during the American Revolution.
