
FOXBOROUGH (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Four people were injured in a two-car head-on car crash that occurred on Main Street in Foxborough on Monday.
Foxborough Police and fire departments responded to the accident involving a 2010 Ford Escape and a 1992 Honda Accord around 5:01 p.m. on Monday.
A 40-year-old woman, who was the operator and lone occupant of the Ford, was taken by a medical helicopter to the Boston Medical Center.
A 16-year-old boy was also taken by medical helicopter to Boston Medical Center.
The 17-year-old operator of the Honda was transported to Rhode Island Trauma Hospital and a 16-year old passenger was transported to Sturdy Hospital.
According to the Foxborough Patch, the three victims in the Honda were members of the Foxborough Post 93 American Legion baseball team and were on their way to a game in Franklin when the crash occurred.
The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.
The crash is being investigated by the Foxborough Police Department.
