WALTHAM (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – The Chief of Police in Waltham will be in court Tuesday accused of attacking his wife.
Chief Thomas LaCroix will face a judge later Tuesday afternoon for a dangerousness hearing.
LaCroix is being held without bail, accused of hitting his wife and a female neighbor.
Prosecutors say LaCroix struck his wife at their Maynard home Tuesday with a counter top and a bike rack. He then allegedly hit the neighbor when she returned to the house with the wife.
LaCroix was arrested last Thursday. He complained of chest pains and was admitted to the hospital.
A deputy chief is now acting as chief in Waltham.
