WESTWOOD (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Westwood are releasing new details they hope will help solve a hit-and-run that seriously injured a woman walking her dog.
Investigators have released surveillance video and still pictures of the suspected car. They're hoping someone recognizes the vehicle, which may be a mid-sized white or light colored four-door sedan with a moon roof. It also should have some front-end damage.
Police say the victim, Jillian Belanger, was walking her dog on Washington Street just before 9 p.m. Monday when she was hit.
The 26-year-old was taken to the hospital with very serious injuries. Her dog was killed.
