(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Opponents of the controversial Cape Wind project are calling for a federal investigation into the work of the Obama and Patrick administrations to get the project approved.
The Boston Herald says the Alliance to Protect Nantucket Sound has written a letter to the Inspector General of the Federal Department of Transportation.
The letter says the Federal Aviation Administration made decisions to approve the project based on political pressure.
The alliance reportedly says it has found FAA documents which mention the political support for the project as opposed to public safety concerns.
