NORTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A Taunton man is facing several charges, including motor vehicle homicide, after he crashed into another vehicle and the female passenger lost her baby as a result.

According to The Taunton Daily Gazette, 32-year-old David Boulter was charged this week with motor vehicle homicide, negligent operation of a vehicle, and marked lanes violation for a May crash in which the female passenger of the other vehicle, who was six month pregnant, lost her child.

Boulter told police that he fell asleep at the wheel while driving on Old Colony Road in Norton around 11:57 p.m. on May 19.  He crossed into the opposite lane of travel and crashed into the other vehicle.
