WALTHAM (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A dangerousness hearing will continue Thursday for a Waltham police chief accused in a domestic assault.
On Tuesday, a judge ordered Thomas LaCroix held without bail until his hearing resumed Thursday.
The extra time was to give the prosecution and defense a chance to figure out where LaCroix will stay while he awaits trial.
The chief was arrested last week for allegedly hitting his wife and a female neighbor at his Maynard home.
Waltham's deputy chief will fill in as acting chief during the trial.
