Police searching for driver who hit and killed Hyde Park mother

Posted: Updated:

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Boston police have some surveillance video they want you to see searching for the driver that hit and killed a single mother in Hyde Park over the weekend.

Tinesha Julian was struck and killed Saturday morning at the corner of River and Rosa streets, not far from where she lived. Police said the driver did not stop.

Her family hopes surveillance video of a black Jeep Liberty speeding away will lead police to Julian's killer. They say her 2-year-old son is now without a mother.

A makeshift memorial has been setup in her memory.

Police are looking for a black Jeep Liberty with a black wheel cover with red and blue lettering.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470. Anonymous tips can be made to the CrimStoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS or by texting the word 'TIP' to CRIME (27463).
