BOSTON (AP) — Boston
police are asking the public for help as they try to find the driver of
an SUV that struck and killed a woman in the Hyde Park neighborhood.
Police
say a woman in her early 20s was hit while walking near River and Rosa
streets at about 4:45 a.m. Saturday. Authorities say she suffered head
trauma and later died at Boston Medical Center. Her name hasn't been
released.
Witnesses said a black, four-door Jeep Liberty struck
the woman and the driver sped off without checking on her. The SUV has a
black wheel cover on the back with red and blue lettering.
Anyone with information is asked to call Boston police.
