FOXBOROUGH (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A Foxborough man has been charged with motor vehicle homicide after the van he was driving struck and killed a motorcyclist on Sunday.
Adam Cobb was arrested following the crash and is being held on $10,000 bail pending his arraignment Monday in Wrentham District Court.
The Foxborough Police and Fire Departments responded to the accident at the intersection of Central and Leonard streets around 4:15 p.m. on Sunday.
The male operator of the motorcycle was taken by the Mansfield Fire Department to Study Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The female passenger of the motorcycle was airlifted to Massachusetts General Hospital where she remains in critical condition.
The victims' names are being withheld pending notification of family; however, police did say that both victims are in the 60s.
The accident is under investigation.
