BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A once stalled building project is getting new life.
Entrepreneur Steve Belkin first proposed the high-rise in the Financial District back in 2006, but the plan fell apart following the economic collapse.
According to The Boston Globe, the building is in the planning stages again and would be one of the city's tallest buildings if completed.
The original concept called for 80 floors, which is about 20 floors higher than the John Hancock. But FAA officials declared the height a problem because of planes at Logan International Airport.
It's unclear how tall the skyscraper will be. Those familiar with the plan say it would meet any guidelines.
