SOUTH HADLEY (AP) - A man has died after his car went out of control and slammed into a home in South Hadley.

Police said the crash occurred about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on North Main Street. The Toyota Camry went off the road, took down a mailbox and hit a parked truck before slamming into the side of the home.

The driver was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Officials have not released his name.

No one was in the house at the time of the crash and no other injuries were reported.
