BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – The bullied bus monitor, Karen Klein, who inspired millions with her grace under fire, spent Thursday in Boston enjoying the warm weather while helping other victims of bullying.
The middle school students from New York that were behind the bullying of school bus monitor Karen Klein have received a year-long suspension from school and bus transportation.
All of the students involved will also have to complete 50 hours of community service with senior citizens and complete a course in bullying prevention.
The Greece Post reports that the students will attend an alternative education program at a non-school facility since the school district is legally obligated to educate the students.
Family members waived their right to disciplinary hearings, which expedited the ruling.
A video of the students brutally bullying Klein went viral last week. Klein received an outpouring of support following the video's release on the Internet.
