BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Meet Carla. She's the airport assistant you'll be getting to know if you travel through Logan International Airport.
Carla tells passengers what they need to know before going through airport security in both English and Spanish. You'll find her at the main security checkpoints in Logan's international terminal.
The hologram is part of a six-month pilot program. Officials from the Port Authority say she doesn't replace any staff, she just offers a new way to communicate with customers.
It's not known why she's named Carla, but if she works outs, the TSA says she could be given other tasks at the airport.
