(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – An explosive new report says that RFK Jr. practiced a "scorched-earth litigation approach" against his estranged wife in the months leading up to her suicide.
A source told the New York Post Mary Richardson Kennedy would ask friends to borrow $20 for gas and groceries. Her lawyers have reportedly filed paperwork in court, alleging Robert Kennedy Jr. owes them nearly $300,000 in legal fees.
The source told the Post the tactic was part of an effort "to squeeze Kennedy and make her panic" as legal issues such as child custody and the division of assets were being worked out.
The mother of four was found hanging in a barn on their upstate New York property on May 16.
A lawyer for Kennedy would not comment on the allegations.
