Boy, 9, dies after being struck by car in Dorchester - Boston News, Weather, Sports | FOX 25 | MyFoxBoston

DORCHESTER (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A 9-year-old boy is dead after being struck by a car in Dorchester on Tuesday night.

Boston police said the unidentified boy was hit at Columbia Road and Washington Street at about 10:32 p.m.

When police arrived at the scene, the child was already being treated by emergency personnel. He was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he later died.

The driver did stop. No violations have been issued at this time.

The incident remains under investigation.
