DRACUT (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – The Dracut man who was last seen on June 26 was found dead in the woods not far from his home on Wednesday.
The circumstances surrounding 49-year-old Leo Coutu's disappearance are unclear; however, family members believed he went missing while taking his daily walk along Nashua Road.
The family addressed the media on Wednesday at the Dillon-McAnepsie Park located at the corner of Nashua Road and Lakeview Avenue.
Police along with family and friends had combed the area several times since his disappearance, but to no avail.
Coutu was a former corrections officer.
