In Boston, two people were struck by lightning at Thomas Park in South Boston. SKYFOX was over the scene minutes after it happened.
The bolt hit just as the fireworks at the Esplanade were ending. The victims, a man and a woman, were rushed to local hospitals. One witness says the storm moved in suddenly.
The park emptied out quickly after the strike.
