LAWRENCE (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A group of Lawrence public school teachers could soon be fired for not doing their jobs well enough.
The Lawrence Eagle Tribune is reporting 16 veteran teachers have been notified that they failed a teacher review process.
The reviews took place this past school year after the Lawrence schools were taken over by the state because they constantly failed to meet minimum standards.
In all, 58 teachers were put on notice, some resigned or retired, and others were given improvement plans.
