
BERLIN, N.H. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A New Hampshire man was found dead on Sunday following a heavily involved garage fire.
The Berlin Fire Department responded to the home at 16 Williamson Avenue around 12:29 p.m. on Sunday. The fire was reported by a neighbor who saw the flames coming from the garage.
Once the fire was extinguished, firefighters discovered the victim in the garage.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning at Concord Hospital.
Identification of the victim and cause of death are pending results of the autopsy and notification of family.
The investigation into the exact cause of the fire is ongoing.
Preliminary findings put the origin of the fire in the garage, and there are indications that work was being done to a vehicle inside the garage.
