COLUMBUS, Ga. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – It's the video moms and dads will no doubt be talking about today. Some parents lost their cool during their kids' sporting event in Columbus, Ga. This time, it was Little League.
The whole thing unfolded feet from the field in Columbus, Ga., where the 12-year-olds play ball.
The brawl wasn't even about the game. According to the Little League's director, one of the dads was blaring music from his car radio when he refused to turn it down when another father asked.
The fists started flying as organizers scrambled to do damage control with the kids.
Parents kept trying to separate the fighting fathers but they kept going back at it.
Police got involved and the dads were cuffed and charged with disorderly conduct.
Officials say the parents embarrassed the league and the city and want to ban them from attending future games.
