Drivers in Boston are asked to seek alternate routes after portions of two city streets were shut down due to a steam pipe problem.

Herald Street, between Washington and Albany Streets, and Harrison Avenue, between Mullins Way and Herald Street, are closed at this time to traffic.

All drivers are urged to seek alternate routes and avoid this area until further notice.
