Hazmat crews respond to Boston College science lab - Boston News, Weather, Sports | FOX 25 | MyFoxBoston

A level 3 Hazmat incident was reported at Boston College's Merkert Chemistry Center Sunday evening.

Crews responded to the building at 2609 Beacon Street in Brighton about 6:45 p.m. after students entering the lab noticed a strange odor.

Fire crews entering the building were wearing full Hazmat suits.

Fire officials said they didn't find anything after searching half of the third floor.
