$5 Double Platinum Payday lottery tickets pulled - Boston News, Weather, Sports | FOX 25 | MyFoxBoston

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Whoops. The state lottery came out as the loser as the department was forced to recall millions of scratch tickets.

Officials are asking retailers to stop selling all 25 million of the $5 Double Platinum Payday ticket.
    
The wrong number of scratch tickets were placed in some ticket books during the cutting and packaging process and at least one duplicate book was printed. However, the lottery will still pay out any winnings on those tickets.
