former custodian from the Wellesley
Middle School, who was accused of stealing from school grounds last year, is facing new robbery charges after he reportedly held up a Millis pizza place at knifepoint.
Gino Lister, who was accused of
stealing jewelry and technology from the middle school last year, is charged with
armed robbery for an incident that occurred on May 5 around 11 a.m. at Marinho's
Pizza on Main Street
in Millis, reports The Boston Globe.
Lister allegedly went into the back door of the pizza place wearing a mask and
carrying a 5-inch knife. He demanded
money from one of the alleged victims who happened to recognize Lister's speech
and build.
According to the newspaper, the victim's information led to Lister's arrest. Following the robbery, police found a hooded sweatshirt, a mask, and rolled coins consistent with what what stolen from the restaurant.
Lister was arrested and indicted by a grand jury on
June 2. He was arraigned in Norfolk
Superior Court on July 12, where he pleaded not guilty, and was held on $10,000
bail. He is due back in court on Aug. 8.
