(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Too much, too soon? A new study says girls as young as 6 want to be sexy.

The disturbing results come from Knox College in Illinois.
    
Researchers showed girls ages 6 to 9 paper dolls dressed in sexy clothes and in more conservative outfits. Sixty-eight percent chose the sexy doll, saying that's how they want to look.
    
Researchers say TV, movies and mothers showed the greatest influence.
    
The study also found that girls associated being sexy with being popular.
