A cloudy Friday has paved the way for a warmer, brighter weekend in Southern New England.
FOX 25 Meteorologist Sarah Wroblewski says to expect lots of sun on Saturday with temperatures reaching near 80 inland.
If you're headed to the beach you shouldn't have high expectations for a hot summer day. An on-shore breeze will keep the coast cool. The Cape and Islands will remain the coolest part of Massachusetts.
Wroblewski expects Sunday to be a warmer beach day than Saturday.
The heat and humidity will move back into the area early next week. Showers are also expected to make a comeback early next week.
