Boston Globe cutting staff

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – The Boston Globe is cutting staff.

The newspaper offered buyouts to 20 newsroom staffers and 23 advertising employees while laying off 10 people.

The cutbacks come amid plummeting circulation at the paper and renewed speculation the New York Times Company is looking to sell the Globe and its sister paper, the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.
