(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Just one week after publicly announcing he would run against Rep. John Tierney, an Iraq War veteran is pulling out of the race.
Sean Moulton says it would be too difficult to organize a full-fledged campaign in a period of just three months.
Not only would Moulton have to move to Massachusetts from Texas, he would also need to collect 2,000 signatures by July 31 to get on the ballot.
Tierney will face off against Republican challenger Richard Tisei this November.
