BRIDGEWATER (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – State police will be stepping up patrols along Route 24 and Route 195 following a series of deadly crashes.
Officials detailed their new patrol plan during a press conference Thursday.
Earlier this month, a 12-year-old girl was killed on Route 24 northbound when the car she was in flipped near Exit 19.
Just a few days later, a pickup truck burst into flames when it collided head-on with a car in West Bridgewater.
Massachusetts State Police say targeted enforcement happens throughout the year, but this recent plan is in response to a tragic month.
