The latest samples came from pools in North Dorchester, Hyde Park and West Roxbury. Earlier this summer additional pools in Hyde Park and West Roxbury tested positive for the virus. It had also been found in East Boston.

Pools in Roslindale and Pittsfield also tested positive this year.

No human cases have been reported. Six were reported in the state last year.

Health officials recommend that people use mosquito repellent, protective clothing and consider staying inside during the peak evening hours for mosquitoes.
