Private investigators will launch a new search for Melanie Melanson, a girl who has been missing since 1989.
Melanson was last seen at a party in a wooded area of Woburn on October 28, 1989. Massachusetts state police searched the area extensively but came up with nothing.
A team of private investigators, acting on a tip that Melanson's body was moved to the Middlesex Fells Reservation in Stoneham, will launch a new search in that area.
An investigator told FOX 25 News' Bob Ward that the tipster's information is credible and checks out with other information they have received in the case.
The search will begin on Saturday and will include teams from four states, including a dozen K-9 units.
No arrests have been made in the case.
